reduced myopia from -8 to -4 in both eyes

right eye suffered heavy scaring and I can still see the 16 incisions in the mirror. Left eye is doing quite well.

Wearing contacts since 1994.

My eye doc is asked me to stop wearing contacts all together and go back to glasses as she feels the scar tissue might expand over the pupil of rt eye due to:
1. Lack of oxygen
2. Irritation from lens stimulating further growth.

To address #1 above, I proposed use of new focus Night and Day lens which allow 6 times more O2 to pass thru.. ; "Fine" she says, but what about #2 (above)??

Is #2 concern above a real concern? or is that just a theory?
