I have had RK in 1993 on both eyes with 8 incisions each. I now have hyperopia on both eyes; my optometrist says that my right eye is less stable than the other. The right eye is blurry, both farsighted and near, and it does not seem to be fully correctable by glasses I do not have the detailed information to the problem that some of your other clients have. What I am interested in is finding a Doctor in Montreal, Canada area who can look at my eye and give me a straight prognosis for what I should do.
I would really appreciate your assistance!

You may find that rigid gas permeable (RGP) contact lenses will provide the best vision correction for a cornea made unstable by previous RK surgery.
I do not know which doctors in Montreal are proficient at fitting RGP lenses on previous RK patients, but I do know an expert on the subject who could probably advise you. If you desire, email me directly at glenn dot hagele at usaeyes dot org.
