In July 2004 I had laser surgery on my eyes and the right eye has a painful feel to it, sort of the feeling when someone punches you in the eye. I have been to my eye doctor complaing on this pain since the day after surgery and now my doctor has me wearing a contact in that eye to see if the pain and irritation goes away. I have had no success. I have been a very good patient, I don't rub my eyes, I put plenty of eye drops in my eyes constantly, and at night when I get home, I put a warm wash cloth to try to sooth my eyes. I don't know what else to do. Do you have any suggestions that I might take to my doctor for help. I also have mono vision which I am finding is harder to get used to than the doctor thought. I am considering having my eyes converted to the same focal strength, but as of now am afraid because of the potential outcome. Please answer my question and I am at my wits end.
