I had a flap refloat about a month after my surgery to fix the wrinkles. According to the doctor, this got out most of my wrinkles but I still had some small ones outside of my line of vision. My night vision has not improved at all.
My question: is it ok to leave the wrinkles that are not in my line of vision or should I have them removed?

Kristen,
This is a gray area. It is better to have no
wrinkles but if a wrinkle is in the peripheral
area of the flap then it should not affect the
vision. However, you are having trouble at
night and it could possible be from you pupil
being large at night and some light going
through the wrinkles. Your doctor would be
the best judge if these wrinkles are significant
or not.
Thanks,
