Went back to the doc for my one week post op exam (6 days to be precise). My right eye is holding steady at 20/25. Unfortunately, my left eye has
regressed to 20/60; it was 20/30 the day after surgery. Not unexpected but disappointing nonetheless. The doctor didn't seem overly concerned and basically said that it was too early to draw any conclusions and scheduled me to come back in two weeks.

As I always do, I got a copy of my examination
sheets from my file as I was leaving. The doctor was already gone from my examination so I
didn't get a chance to ask about some of the technical terminology on the page. On a diagram of my right eye there is a mark that is labeled "pee." Can anyone tell me what the heck a pee is? Also, on the diagram of the left eye there is a mark with a note on it that says "microstriae on: not vis significant." Anyone know what this means? Thanks in advance.

My LASIK surgeon responded to an e-mail from me with the following regarding "PEE:"

"PEE are dry spots on the cornea--just an indication to use tears a little more often--up to every two hours."
