i am 30 years old and i am wondering if medicaid will cover my lasik surgery or will i have to save up the money myself?

Medicaid, the federal medical insurance program, will pay for refractive surgery only if you can prove that it is a medical necessity and no other alternative is appropriate. That would be a virtually impossible task. You would need to prove that you cannot wear glasses or contacts of any kind, and that you cannot function normally without vision correction.
