A well known eye institute in the Detroit area is located at Beaumont Hospital. For my lasik I preferred to go to a hospital than a clinic.
Here's a cut and paste from their web page:
You can see an ophthalmologist in a private pratice or at the Beaumont Eye Institute. The Beaumont Eye Institute is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
The institute is located in the Medical Office Building, Suite 555, at Beaumont, Royal Oak.
