Does anybody have any suggestions about doctors in the Minneapolis area? I a scheduled to go in on May 8, and was wondering if I should look around a little more. How about Lasik-Plus in Edina? Thanks for the info....Dennis

Everyone has their own most important qualification. In my case I have been watching the technology closely due to high level correction. Also I am more comfortable in a place doing a relatively high level of procedures. As per lasers in the twin cities, you'll find VISX all over the place. Lasik Plus in Maple Grove has the Bausch and Lomb, TLC (The Laser Center) in Golden Valley has the Summit Autonomous and Icon downtown MPLS has the Nidek. Myself, I'm looking to investigate TLC.

I am 4 days post op at TLC in Minneapolis/Minnetonka with the Autonomous laser and Dr. Aymond. The facilities and staff were top notch, thorough, accomodating, and encouraging. Prior to surgery I was 20/1000+ (roughly -8.5 diopters per eye) and 15 hours later reading 20/20 on the eye chart. No pain, everything has gone smoothly. Still have some trouble with fine print but can read the computer cleanly.
