I am considering Dr. John Kirk in Loveland, Colorado. Does anyone know anything about him? Can you recommend anyone else in the Fort Collins area? I would consider going to Denver if I knew the surgeon was better. (Denver is about a one hour drive.) Dr. Kirk has done "thousands" of surgeries, starting with PRK in 1995 and Lasik in 1996. (I will be asking for more details at the initial visit.) He used to go to Denver to use the laser, but there is a laser center in Loveland now that he uses. (It has been in Loveland for the last year and the laser was in Fort Collins for six months before that.) He shares the laser center with other surgeons. Is this any reason for concern? I believe the laser is a Visx.
