Hi Harry, I just had lasik by Dr. Paul Dougherty on Friday July 21st after much research on Dr.s perfoming Lasik. I found out many doctors themselves go to Dr. Dougherty. I can tell you personally that he and his staff took their time in answ. my questions and made me feel more than comft. more importantly, i walked out of the office not having to wear contacts and glasses, i have had no problems with my eyes after (in regards to infection or not being able to see) i highly rec. that you at least consult with Dr. Dougherty and make your dec. I can tell you he is a fantastic surgeon from my exp. and iwould not trust anyone else with my eyes.
