I would like to recommend Dr. Anthony Wallace at Lasik Vision in Santa Monica. He performed Lasik on me last Friday. I went to Lasik Vision because I was searching for an affordable rate. They have just opened many clinics in the U.S. and are offering tremendous discounts. Their newly opened centers charge $1,000 for both eyes, and their regular price is $2,000 for both eyes. They have hired some excellent surgeons who already have established reputations and Dr. Wallace is one of them. He has over twenty years experience as a opthamologist.

Anyway, the downside is that there is a somewhat assembly-line atmosphere. There is a large staff and they move you through the process quickly and efficiently. You have to be sure to push back and get your questions answered and concerns addressed. But I received wonderful service, Dr. Wallace is a great surgeon and inspires confidence. His reputation precedes his presence at Lasik-vision. If you go to Lasik-Vision in Santa Monica, you need to ask specifically to be scheduled with him, though, since there are also less experienced physicians on the staff.

I went to a consultation with him and I had to inform him of what laser would be most appropriate for me. I should not have to do that, that is the doctor's job. They were very pushy. Much like car sales men. Dr. Wallace even called me at my house to try and further convince me. Yes, he may be cheaper then many of the other doctors in the area but if price is what is motivating you, you can go to UCLA and get just as cheap of a deal. These are your eyes and worth every penny.
