Does anybody know of a great LASIK surgeon in San Diego? I am looking for someone who is ultra careful, will do his own pre-op and post-op exam, and is also extremely skilled and experienced ( I know such a person could be a figment of my imagination - but I am hoping there are such surgeons in San Diego. )

Hi Ratty - didn't I sound like such a "newbie" back then - and it was only September! Just found this site at the time, and humble I was not - to my later detriment. Et alors, no real harm done and a positive attitude in life has proven a blessing.....
Still, have since learned my lesson - but glad I did. I pretty much just read the postings these days.
BTW, The patient, above, DID end of having LASIK w/the MD I work with (not my employer, by the way) and had excellent results, from what I hear.
