You will find that Dr. Trattlers website is supported by doctors who are near your general location (https://asklasikdocs.com/cgi-local/directory.cgi).
At our website you will find a list of doctors who have been evaluated by our nonprofit patient/consumer organization (there is one in Redding), a list of 50 Tough Questions For Your Doctor to help guide you through the process of deciding which surgeon is most appropriate for you, and other advice about refractive surgery issues that discuss the pro and the con.

Jim,
I am a refractive surgeon in San Jose. Have you considered a surgeon in Sacramento?

I went to a place in windsor called Pacific Laser Eye Center, and Lasevue, in Santa Rosa. My concern is the doctor being honest about my risk of complications due to my pupil size, so how far I go is becoming less important. If you could do me a favor and read my post in the " Pupil size and Lasik" forum and give me your opinion, it would be greatly appreciated. One person already responded and felt I'm not an ideal candidate, but would like more opinions confirming it. I don't feel that I am, yet 2 places told me I am. I'm not taking any unnecessary risk with my eyesight. I have 20/15 vision with contacts, and I don't hate them, I would just love to not have to wear them, but not with ghosts, and halos and all the other problems I've been reading about.
