Hello, I am 23 years old and am looking into getting lasik surgery. I have had a cateract in my right eye ever since I was born but in the last 3 years or so I have been bothered by the cateract (I see a black dot now) and my question was this.

Can cateract surgery and lasik surgery be done on the same day? Is the cateract a problem for lasik surgery?

How expensive is it to remove a small cateract (a rough estimate)?

Thank You

what is the point getting lasik if you have cateracts? Youd still need cateract surgury and this can also fix your refractive error. Lasik would be a complete waste for those with cateracts, they would still have blurry vision and still need cateract surgury
