Yesterday I finaly received enhancement on my left eye. Today I am astounded as to how good it feels after surgery! For some reason, it actualy feels better than my right and i was first Intralased on both eyes 9 months ago. I still see some overlap but it is better than it was and since the eye feels so good, I have hope that the vision will get even better as it heals.
My surgeon feels that it is the suction ring used during initial flap cutting that causes so many problems. The ring was not used during enhancement and what a difference that makes!

John, I just had an enhancement on both of my eyes last Friday. You're right, what a differnce. I can honestly say there was no discomfort after the proceedure and the results are outstanding. I think it had a lot to do with the small amount of tissue that need to be removed and no suction ring or cutting of a flap. I'm glad I did it.

It's now 4 days since enhancement and I couldn't be more thrilled! Not only does my eye feel good but this morning I am seeing clearly without an overlap of letters. I had been seeing double and feeling like I had sand in my eye for 9 months. I have the feeling that something must have been under the flap that was causing the constant inflamation.

Was your night vision "blurry" prior to your enhancement & if so, has it resolved?

Night vision still is bad. I also notice a lack of contrast with early morning and late afternoon sunshine. The worst thing to deal with is driving during a hard rainstorm. There is a real bad contrast problem then so much so that I often have to pull over. I never had to pull over while wearing glasses.
Enhancement corrected some of the stigmatism and just made the eye feel a lot more comfortable. I still have a double image of the moon and stars at night.

My dr.wants to enhance my "dominant" eye-he believes that will help my night vision & low-light blurriness. I'm -.75 in my dominant eye. Any opinions?
