Within the last month, my vision has regressed rapidly. Six weeks after my surgery (Feb 2005), my vision was 20/15. At my last eye clinic visit with the surgeon who perform my surgery, I registered at 20/25. According to the MD, everything is clear - no cataracts or floaters my flaps look good, etc. He doesn't know why my vision is regressing. He gave me a prescription of Econopred and advised me to use the no-preservative lubrication as prescribed after the LASIK surgery. Ive been having headaches from refocusing and my eyes are constantly red and an occasional sharp pain in my eyes (like a needle stick). Any suggestions to what the problem may be?

I used to get that periodically as well...I noticed it tended to go away if I just increased my usage of artificial tears...my eyes were extrememly dry after surgery...used tear drops every 15 min for about 1 month afterwards....but it does get better...now I'm 8 months out and only using drops every 2-4 hours...just don't decrease usage of your artificial tears too soon...be patient...and of course, if any doubts, see your surgeon to make sure all is healing well
