I had custom Lasik on Aug 2nd and my vision has yet to stabalize. It flucuates during the day, to the point of being completely blurry. My doctor says this is due to dry eye and to keep using drops. Throughout the day, when my vision does stabalize I see quite well with the left eye but the right eye is still slightly blurry. If I put an artificial tear drop in my right eye, I will be able to see perfectly clear, as well as my left eye, for a few seconds until I blink out the drop. My question is whether the clarity in my right could be due to the liquid from the drop magnifying my vision a tiny bit, or if my eye might eventually heal to this level of clarity and could just be healing slower than my left.

I had Custom Vue Lasik on April 5th, and am still having fluctuations in vision. My symptoms are almost exactly as yours. My doctor had me on Restasis 2 wks pre-op & 2 months post-op, along with Systane. It seems that a little while after I was off the Restasis, the fluctuations were worse. My doctor is putting me back on Restasis to see if that helps, and I am trying to be more vigilant in using the Systane, along with Genteal preservative-free drops during the day.
From what I understand, complete healing can take several months.
I have no regrets on having the surgery; I am still amazed every day that I can see as well as I can without glasses!
