My strong eye is corrected 20/20 for distance and my weak eye is corrected 20/20 for close up. The only clear vision I have with both eyes open is at about a four foot range. Otherwise it is almost double vision, making it very difficult to read and to see distance, especially driving. Two months have gone by since my operation. Is there anything I can do to improve my current vision? Has enough of my eye been lasered? How can it be corrected if I can't learn to accomodate it? If both eyes are corrected for distance, what will be the correction for close up vision - as good as it was after the first surgery? I'm getting desperate.

You said your weak eye was corrected to 20-20--did you mean something else? If so, I can see how you can't see close up. My left (not dominant eye) wasn't done at all & my right, dominant eye was done for distance. My left eye is about 20-100, & that's very distorted--but I can read perfectly out of it & see the computer. As for the double vision, I had that problem--it was a central island. They fixed it with an enhancement in March. So far so good. I go back next week for another recheck.
