I recently had Lasik with monovision. Previously, I had monovision contacts that had 1.25 dioptio difference between the eyes. With Lasik, my doctor said it is around 2 now.
I adjusted well with my contacts, but with Lasik I am really struggling seeing well in-between distances. I suspect is the larger monovision variance between the near and far eyes.
For those of you who love monovision, what is the dioptic difference between your eyes? For the doctors, what is the recommended difference that most patients can handle without difficulity?
I love seeing without readers, but walking around, seeing a movie, or driving seem extremely difficult.
