I had lasik about 8 years ago. Loved it. 20/15 for until a year ago. Now my vision is -150 in each eye. My eye dr said if I want to try monovision, I would just remove one contact. Which one do I remove?? Does this sound right? I am nearsighted and now have astigmatism but evidently not enough for the toric lenses. So my vision is always kind of blurry. Do you think I will have better luck with the monovision?

usually, your dormant eye is for distance. You could remove the contact in your NON dormant eye. This will let you see from near in that eye without reading glasses. if you are happy with monovision, maybe you can get more laser surgury but its not without risks and youd have to discuss this with your doctor if its a good option. If he doesnt feel the risks are worth it, stick to wearing one contact.
