I hope someone out there can give me a word of encouragement. I went in for lasik surgery and right before I went into the surgery room, I decided to do monovision. I am really terrified because my distant vision is gone. I could see better before surgery. I can see up close great, which I couldn't before, but I can't see past 10 feet clearly. I couldn't see my preacher in church this morning and broke down and started crying. Even if I close the eye set for close vision, I can't see from the eye set for distant vision. I had the surgery 4 days ago. Is this normal? He told me both eyes were overcorrected. I don't understand what that means. if someone can give me advise, please do.
