I had a Monovision procedure one week ago and for the most part I am happy with the results. However, I am experiencing some difficulty adjusting. Sometimes I can see well through both eyes, but other times my eyes both go out of focus. It usually lasts for less than a minute. I was told my vision may fluctuate for some time and it might take three to six months for my vision to stabilize. My question is are there any eye exercises I can perform that will speed the adjusting time? What about Tibetan eye exercise charts, or the Bates Method. Any comments?

In my personal experience, the best way to become accustomed to monovision is to go about your everyday life without corrective lenses or anything else special. We have a detailed article about Lasik Monovision at http://www.USAEyes.org and click on | Considerations | Which Surgery For You? | Monovision |
