Dr. Homer Ferguson is a Board Certified Ophthalmic Surgeon who is dedicated to improving the lives of his patients by providing quality vision care.
He has been in practice in Belleville, Illinois since 1983 and has performed refractive surgery since 1989. He is also on the faculty of St. Louis University School of Medicine where he trains family practice residents.


After successful completion of four years service in the United States Air Force as a medic, Dr. Ferguson obtained a B.S. Degree at Michigan State University followed by a M.S. at the University of Michigan. He graduated from the College of Human Medicine in 1978 and completed his ophthalmology residency at St. Louis University Medical Center, Department of Ophthalmology.


Dr. Ferguson is also a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Board of Eye Surgeons, The American Medical Association, the St. Clair County Medical Association, and the St. Louis Ophthalmological Society. He, his wife Marcy, and three children reside in Belleville.
