Dr. Jenkins performed the first LASIK procedure in Hawaii and has been actively involved in a national study regarding LASIK results which led to FDA approval of the procedure. Dr. Jenkins is the most experienced laser refractive surgeons in Hawaii specializing in PRK and LASIK, and has recently been recognized by VISX as one of the top 100 laser surgeons in the country. She also has a special interest in anterior segment surgery, glaucoma and cataracts. Dr. Jenkins is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Hawaii Medical Association and the Hawaii Ophthalmology Society and is a member of the surgery department at the University of Hawaii School of Medicine.
