Dr. Pascal is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Stanford University where he was

School of Medicine at the New England Medical Center in Boston Massachusetts where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. His ophthalmology training was through the University of Southern California at the Doheny Eye Institute and Los Angeles County General Hospitals.

Dr. Pascal is the Chief of Ophthalmology at Summit Medical Center in Oakland. Recently, he and other local doctors opened the EyeMD Laser and
Surgery Center which is a state-of-the-art facility for cataract surgery. For more than ten years, Dr. Pascal has been teaching eye surgery at Highland-Alameda County Hospital as a Clinical Instructor through California Pacific Medical Center. He also works as a Medical Consultant for U.C. Berkeleys Tang Health Center. In addition to giving frequent lectures on general eye diseases, Dr. Pascal has been an invited
lecturer on new technology for the California Association of Ophthalmology.

Eye Physicians of the East Bay works as the team ophthalmologists for the
Golden State Warriors. Dr. Pascal and his associates perform yearly pre-season eye exams for the team and attend each game to provide court-side help when needed. They have also cared for members of the Oakland Raiders football team and Oakland Athletics baseball team.

Dr. Pascals approach to LASIK has been a conservative one. He believes that current technology has the ability to transform lives for the better, but he also believes that the technology must be matched and customized for the appropriate individual patient. Dr. Pascal views his primary role as educating his patients regarding LASIK. He attributes his high success rate to doing LASIK only on patients who are appropriate candidates for the procedure.
