I am almost 7 weeks since Lasik. The first two weeks post-op my vision was astounding---20/15 nearly---but suddenly(and it really happened almost overnight) I developed blurring and double vision within the eyes. The blurred vision came and went, and the follow-up doctor said I was experiencing dry eye problems, but he thought my vision would settle out to nearly 20/15. However, it seems like my vision has deteriorated, and nothing is really helping: Systane, Refresh P.M., Salmon oil, HA----you name it. My question is, how do I know I am dealing with complications due to dry eye syndrome, or with astigmatism? I was astigmatic prior to Lasik, and the surgery seemed to correct all the refractive problems I had. Do I need to see my surgeon? Do dry eye problems diminish with time? Is it too early for me to become worried? OH, and I am 50. Thanks! Cheryl
