Help!! I had lasik done on both eyes on March 4, 2005. I had flap complications with my right eye so healing has taken a little longer than anticipated. My left eye feels great but my right eye is extremely dry. I have a constant burning sensation in that eye. What products are available to help alleviate this? I have tried Refresh Celluvisc, Refresh PM, Systane. Any others I might try that would work better?

Thera tears help a lot of people, espicially the ointment used at night. Be sure to use preservative free, my aftercare told me to use visotears gel (which had preservative in it) and so i used it all the time for my dry right eye and after 4 months my eye got worse. Found out on the internet it hardens the cornea or something. I am now trying not to use anything. Try also flax seed oil, rich in omega 3 and 6. Lots say it helps keep the eyes oiled which prevents tears evaporating. I take supplements for omegas every day- can take upto 8 weeks to start working properly though.
