Before proceeding with any additional surgery I would want a detailed explanation why such a small initial correction was so significantly undercorrected. If the doctor is using new equipment and is still working out the details, wait until those details have been worked out before having an enhancement.
If you were plano (no refractive error) immediately after surgery and then regressed to your current level of myopia, then I would be concerned about the level of regression. Considering your initial refractive error, no regression should have been anticipated or occurred.
There is no reason to rush into an enhancement. You can always have it later. It is quite possible that additional change may occur in the next few months. I suggest you wait at least three months before considering an enhancement, and six might be better. If you do not get what you consider to be appropriate responses to you questions as to why you were so undercorrected, then I also suggest you get a second opinion before proceeding.
