I had LASIK in Fall of 1996 to correct my nearsightedness. It corrected 20/20 both eyes. My sight regressed. Enhancement 6 months later. Correction 20/20 both eyes. I need another enhancement, but surgeon said since I am 41 that having LASIK surgery to correct my nearsighted would dramatically speed up the need for wearing reading glasses. That I would probably would need them in 6 months. I know that I will need them eventually. Please advise.

Try a contact lens in one eye - which is called a monovision contact lens trial.
