I had eyelid surgery about a month ago and my cornea was injured duing the surgery leaving me with irregular astigmatism in my right eye, I have double and blurred vision and am currently on steroid drops 4 times a day, I was just wondering if there is a chance Lastik can help this.

Thank you
Cynthia

LASIK is only for myopia, hyperopia, and astigmatism. If your injury left you with a scar, the laser can be used to reshape the cornea. This is called a PTK, and works on the surface of the cornea (so no flap is created).

Dr. Neal Sher is a laser surgeon in Minneapolis () and may be helpful

Best of luck
