Hello,
Like many others on the board, I am searching for a experienced lask dr. Can you tell me what credentials/ specialty training to look for? What would be an ideal minimum number of surgeries to expect him to have done? Any other special questions to ask to know if my doctor is an expert in his field? How about FDA approval of equipment? I am considering Dr. Rozakis in north olmsted, Ohio (suburb of cleveland). His site claims he is a pioneer in the field. Any knowledge of him?

I do not know of the doctor you mentioned, and I have not heard of him as a pioneer in LASIK.
You may consider seeing a few LASIK surgeons in your area - including the doctors at the Cleveland Clinic. One of my friends who has moved to California was on the faculty there and has told me that the LASIK surgeons at the Cleveland Clinic are very good
