I'm -4.00 in both eyes with a mild astigmatism in both, no night vision issues. My Dr. said that Flying Spot should be fine, but price isn't a factor for me, I want the best result. Is Wavefront a better option?

Also, is it worth it to get the Lifetime "Acuity Plan" for enhancements if I ever reach 20/40 or worse? I'm leaning toward "no".

You should pick based on the surgeon.
In Connecticut - Dr. Deluise is an experienced corneal specialist. In Boston - Helen Wu and Michael Goldstein are excellent.
My point is that the lasers are an important piece of the puzzle - but the surgeon is the most critical part of determining your success.
I personally think a lifetime warranty is not a great idea. In my experience - patients have been very stable even 8 years after surgery. It is very uncommon to regress to 20/40 if you start off with an excellent result.
As well - if you develop a cataract or develop other eye problems - then you may not even be eligible for an enhancement. Also - how do you know the company you are purchasing this policy from will even be in existance 10 years from now.

Best of luck
