Hi

My name is Ghaida from Jordan, I’m 29 years old & I have diabetes since 26 years. I wear glasses since more than 10 years, I’m considering doing lasiK. I did a colored photo for the retina and it showed nothing wrong with it, the doctor said it’s like a baby’s retina. Also I examined the cornea and there were no problems.

My question is will lasik affect any future complication’s in the eye caused by diabetes? Is it recommended for me to do lasik if my sugar level is under good control?
