I went to second preoperation appoitment yesterday and the doctor told me after examination that I have eyes with very flat cornea. He said he did surgery before with similar shape of cornea and had no complains but at the same time he said that the chances to get night effect complications are about 15-20% which is very high. he said: 'I would do the surgary but I must warn you about that because it's very important!' I have -4 on both eyes and my cornea is quite thick(according to him). unfortunately I don't understand how flat my cornea is (he mentioned figure 36, does it ring any bells?)
I's been my dream for years to get rid of glasses and I was told before I was suitable for operations. And after yesterday I don't know what to do.......I wouldn't be happy at all if I get this complication.
what is the best type of operation suitable in my case? or should I even think about operation?

Tank you.
Albert
