I am considering having custom Lasik done, but does anyone really know if Lasik w/intralase consistently provides a better result than Lasik w/o intralase? It appears that for every studing claiming so, there is another one that shows the results are inconclusive. The doctor I have found is very experienced, but he is just now getting the newest Intralase machine, and I don't feel comfortable going with it if its a new procedure for him. Is it worth waiting another year for, or should I just go with the microkeratome procedure?
