I was told that my eyes are generally healthy and can move forward with the Lasik even though I have diabetes. My prescreption is
Undialated
Left -6.25 -0.50 075 Right -4.25 -1.25 115
Dialated
Left -6.00 -0.50 074 Right -3.75 -1.00 115

Cornea Thickness is 565 in each eye (3 measurements back to back)

Pupil size is 7.00mm in the dark

1. Based on this would i be a good candidate for the B&L 217A proceedure as opposed to the B&L 217Z? I understand that the 217Z produces better results.

2. Is there a more improved technology that will yield better results?

3. How are folks doing (statically) 5 to 10 years post lasik vs 1 year post lasik

thank you for your response

I do not use the B&L laser. We have the Visx S4 and the Allegretto. Both are giving outstanding results. Yes you can have custom lasik.
Let me know if I can help further. I am not far from you so if you want another opinion I will see you.
