Which is better? I have found some info on the new accommodating iol's at http://www.AccommodatingIOL.com but not too much... any thoughts?

If you are 40+ you probably want to look into IOLs anyway, period. This will save you from a 2nd surgury when/if you get cateracts in the future and get IOLs anyway. I havent heard good things about the accomodating IOL but you can ask to get undercorrected slightly with regular IOLs instead
