I have a history of herpes infections in my left eye only. Would this disqualify me from having lasik in my right eye even though I have no history of infection in that eye?

You could have LASIK or surface ablation in your eye that has not had a herpes infection. Most herpes cases are unilateral, so the other eye typically is not involved.
