I have had tests to check for compatability with LASIK. I have thin cornea's (470um). I have had tests with orbasacn and manual patchtymetry. I have been told that this is below the accepted norm, but it is not a problem. I have about 2.25 diopters of myopia. Is there any reson for concern?

your corneas too thin for lasik but surface ablation like lasek or prk may be an option. I do want to let you know that your a low myope so your near and intermediate vision is great. You dont need glasses except for distance. Lasik does nothing for presbyopia so you may need reading glasses now or in due time. You could try monovision with a contact lense in your dormant eye.
