I recently have undergone evaluation for LASIK and was told my Dr. Barnhorst in Jacksonville, FL that at present I am not a candidate for LASIK.
Ihave been Monovision for 10yrs, +2.75 in the left and nothing in the right. I also have astigmatism. Dr. Barnhorst said that at present my vision cannot be corrected even for Monovision due to my astigmatism and farsightedness. This I find frustrating, he also indicated to me that complete correction for my eyes not utilizing Monovision could be 5 yrs away. What do I do next? I will go to any country to correct my vision, I have the finances and make myself available. Please assist in this frustration...

Darrell I live in Kingsland Ga and I used Dr Imhoff out of Brunswick, you also might wanna try Dr Maida in Jacks.... I hear he is pretty good. I was farsighted and had very high astig in left eye and minor one in right eye.

What is your Rx in both eyes without your contact.

your astigmatism.
