A very respected doctor has recommended lasek for me. My eyes are -10 and -9. My research indicated that Lasek is not an option for severe myopia. What do you doctors think?

Thanks for any help!

You may want to consider IOLs. If you are 40+ you can get clear lens extraction. This has the big benefit of also taking care of ever getting cateracts. If your still young, phakic IOLs work great for high myopes and you still keep your accomodation and all your cornea.
