I have had enhancements on both eyes; one for my left eye which is now 20/15, and my right eye corrected to 20/30 to 20/40). It's been over eight months since my right eye was enhanced and just two weeks on my left eye. The doctor didn't seem to want to do anything to my right eye for now. He just told me see you in four months, and sorry for all the hassles that I have encountered. I have had many problems from day one. It's been a year since my original Lasik. The doctor said my Epithelium wants to slide off. The enhancement to my right eye caused two issues wrinkle, and epi cell ingrowth which is now corrected. I am afraid with my left eye being so good now, that it will regress to square one since my right eye is so bad.
He gave me glasses with a clear lens on the left eye , and a prescription lenses with minimal correction for the right eye. I wish there something that can be done to the right eye since my left turned out so good. Should I even consider a second enhancement because of the risk to my right eye. Is there a new procedure of correcting it without lifting the flap?

If you can tolerate monovision, stick with that. Youll thank yourself around the age 40. If your already that age, youll just end in (reading)glasses if you enhance your 20/40 eye. Your surgeon does not feel its worth the risks of enhancement. How functional are you now?

I feel off balance and getting headaches which I think is coming from the eyes. I am wearing glasses for computer use to stablize the reading, and glasses for night vision because its not that great at night.

Do glasses fix this off balance? If they do, its much safer to use glasses whenever you need than risk an enhancement. Is it worth enhancing a very low residual pescription due to the risks? Only you can decide
