I have an overcorrected right eye from PRK. I am investigating CK to correct my current + 2.50 prescription.
On a recent Orbscan my cornea thickness in the middle is a very sad 319 (about the same using Pacymetry, spelling). The printout shows a thickness of approximately 500 or more on the periphery, in separate little boxes forming a circle. They are all slightly different thicknesses, but all in the 500 range in multiple boxes forming a circle.
My question is at what ring are these boxes with the numbers in on a topography. Are they at the 6 MM, 7 MM or 8 MM circle.
My understanding is that CK will need 450 microns of thickness at 6 MM to perform the procedure.
Does anyone hve any idea?
