Origional Intralase Lasik 3/28/06 for -8 myopia both eyes. After 2 weeks left eye 20/20, right eye 20/40 with 50/50 ghost. Next morning I was diagnosed with epithilial ingrowth in left (good) eye, and re-lifted. It has now been almost 4 weeks since and my left eye has not "sealed down" yet. It is at 20/100 and worsens through the day. My Doc says he doesn't know why it hasn't locked down by now.

I have been on beitimol in both eyes for 3 weeks, I had plugs put in last week, and he just prescribed me Muro 128, which is 5% sodium chloride... salt. Thats a fun drop to take.. I guess its an irritant to stimulate the keritomes to heal. He took me off prednizone 2 weeks ago because he thought I was reactive to it.

Has anyone else experienced an extended flap sealing problem like this? My Doc says it could take 4-5 more weeks to heal down, but in the same breath he didn't know why it hasn't already.
