I have a question for the doctors of this board to answer. What causes your vision to regression after Lasik surgery? I have had enhancements performed on both eyes because they were under corrected. The right eye enhancement didn't go to well. My vision in that eye is 20/30 - 20/40, with a slight wrinkle and recovered from post epi in growth cleaning. I had my enhancement on the right eye back in July 2005. For my left eye enhanced, which was about a month ago my vision is 20/15 - 20/20, but I have noticed my vision is getting blurry and not so clear and lately I having been getting bad headaches. Doctor gave me glasses to wear when I need too. Left lens is plain no correction, and the right has a very small prescription. I've been wearing my glasses at night time because of the blurriness, but the strange part it only make things bright and doesn't actually improve my vision. I am worried that wearing glasses will cause my left eye to regress.

Also my doctor would kid me after my enhancement about my Epithelium tend to slide off but didn't understand what he meant by this. Was he talking about with my right eye having EPI in growth, and wrinkles or was he talking about actually condition where your Epithelium falls down causing vision to regress. I know I need to call and make a follow-up appoint prior to September, but I hate to bother my doctor because of last year’s office visits. I would say that I visit him twice a month.
I think my doctor was relieved when my left eye was 20/15 and he didn’t have to see me, but now its going down hill, but If put drops in my vision clears up.

Please post your pescription in each eye and how well you see now without and with glasses. This info will help us give a better opinion.
