Prior to CustomVue LASIK, my prescriptions was as follows:
-6.75 x -0.50 x 21 (OD)
-6.50 x - 0.75 x 168 (OS)
after LASIK (1wk post-op):
+0.25 x +0.50 x 045 (OD)
+0.25 x +0.75 x 130 (OS)

Can someone explain the middle number. My doctor says that I'm not seeing clear is due to the middel number. Will this number go to zero.

I'm 43, so after LASIK I lost my near vision. I've tried a number of reading glasses, but I can't seem to tell a difference in quality between 1.25 and 1.75. I can see but they cause headaches.

Finally, in my left eye, my doctor said I have an abrhasion. How long does this take to heal. Thanks for any advice.
