What have studies shown in patients that have had the lasik surgery for astigmatism 2-5 years after the surgery? What percentage need corrective lenses after this surgery? How successful is the lasiks for astigmatism?

Your question is too general, as there are all different levels of astigmatism. The results for mild astigmatism are superior compared to the results for patients with 6 diopters of astigmatism - so it would be helpful if you were more specific and let us know what level of astigmatism you were referring to.
I will be happy to answer with this information.
Best of luck

I had 4.50 diopters of astigmatism in my eyes.
One eye has .25 and the other .75
My sugery was 6 months ago..
Do you think it will get worse over the next few years?
Thanks
Ron
