I'm not sure what the #'s on a prescription mean, so I was wondering if you could give me any advice on the best machine for my prescription and let me know if I'm a good candidate for the surgery. I realize selecting the proper Dr. is the most important factor and that there are many possible ramifications to the surgery. Thank you for your time!!!!!

There have yet to be any studies that have shown that one laser provides "better" results than another laser. The key factor is to have a careful exam to make sure you are a good candidate, and also to make sure you are very comfortable with your doctor - and feel confident that not only will he/she provide excellent results, that he/she will also be on top of things if the post-op course is not as smooth.
Trying to pick which brand of laser to use will not result in a better result, since all of the lasers work very well.

I hope this helps
