i just wanted to know how much it would cost if you were going to get this procedure done and what are some of the side affects you might get from having a procedure like this done.

I had very severe astimatism -4.25 in both eyes..
I now see 20-20 and have only about .50 astigmatism in each eye. I paid 2 thousand per eye a year and a half ago..
My surgeon used the autonomous laser.. I dont need contact lens any more.

Cost can vary - and you should not select your surgeon based on cost.
The key issue is to first find out whether you are a good candidate for LASIK. There are a variety of tests that need to first be performed to determine whether you are a good or bad candidte for surgery. In my experience, about 20-30% of patients who come to my office are bad candidates for surgery and are informed they should avoid surgery.
Without knowing anything about you - the list of issues is too broad. Feel free to reply with your refractive error (glass or contact prescription), age, and any other pertininent issues.
I hope this helps
