Could you have it treated again? i mean if a central island is caused by a area being poorly treated by the laser .. then does it not make sense just to have it laser again until the entire area is treated? why don't people do this?

Treating a central island is very challenging - and currently patients with central islands are advised to wait until technology can precisely treat the central island and not other surrounding corneal tissue.
